It serves as the cornerstone of effective teaching and learning across all subjects and disciplines. Additionally, education fosters motivation, critical thinking, and communicative competence, essential for effective language acquisition and usage. Motivation is an orientation towards learning. This project intends to study how lack of motivation affects English language reading among secondary school students by overlooking the ways students involve into the process of reading after being motivated.
